I have only lost 1.3 pounds in the past 3 days but that is a far cry better than the 6 days that I either gained or had no loss when I had lowered my dose to 125 iu. I have now been on ABOUT 175 ( my needles are marked to where it isn't really that easy to find the 175 mark) for 3 days and I haven't been completely perfect with the vlcd but I have not strayed too far. I think that if I add some activity to my schedule then I would probably have a bigger loss. You see, this is really sad to say but, I am so INactive that I am probably not burning up even the mere 500 calories that I am eating so, that makes it difficult for my body to use up those calories and then start utilizing my own fat.
I have noticed that some pants that I had bought right before I started my diet are so big on me now that I can fit my fist in the waist. I had lost 2 inches as of last Friday or Saturday (day 11 or 12) and I am guessing that there has been more inches lost since then.
I also figured out that maybe some of my supplements may be hindering my loss. My magnesium has 14 calories per serving and my cranberry supplement, well I don't remember the exact numbers but sugars and carbs and calories were really high. I quit taking the cranberry but I am sticking with the magnesium as it helps my sleep, not to mention, it helps the colon.
All in all, it's not going bad. It's not going as good as I expected at 1-2 pounds per day but I am losing way more than I was losing without the diet.
