Ok. Since I raised my dose to 175 last Friday, day 12 I think it was, I am very pleased to say that I have lost 5.5 pounds. 2.5 pounds since my last blog. I have still stuck to my vlcdiet with the exception of a bite here or there. I haven't been hungry a whole lot but still hungry more than the diet claims that I should be. I have also discontinued the prescription that I was on that had a side effect of weight gain (along with some other severe side effects). I decided to stop the magnesium too.
But! I am COMPLETELY fatigued! My muscles burn like I have been working out constantly. When I walk up the 4 steps to my kitchen, I feel like I went up 100 steps. A 6-pack of beer felt like it weighed 50 pounds. Doesn't that sound like I'm not getting the nutrition that I need? The hcg is suppose to keep this from happening right? Maybe raising my dose to 200 would be the answer? I have also had nightmares, not just dreams but nightmares about eating greasy cheeseburgers and pizza and getting drunk. I also feel like I NEED to pig out since my body seems to be rebelling. Of course, I did some research and this could be a potassium or sodium deficiency. I am going to incorporate a potassium supplement and see if that helps. I have been eating quite a bit of salt so the only way I could be low on sodium is from the fact that I have been going pee like every 15 minutes. Oh! I guess I am also going to raise my dose to 200 and see if that helps too.
